Apply now for the position of MR Scientist Collaboration Manager – Siemens Healthineers/UCL, and you will be responsible for the design and implementation of MR research projects in collaboration with one of our luminary research partners.
Your role:
- You develop innovative MR techniques in close cooperation with our academic partner and validate new applications clinically.
- You facilitate translation of pre-clinical concepts to a clinical environment for ‘real-world’ evaluation with the goal of integration into future products.
- You successfully administer, manage and drive collaboration projects.
- You submit invention disclosures with the aim of protecting company intellectual property.
- You disseminate collaboration results at scientific congresses and in peer-reviewed journals together with our collaboration partners.
- You become the interface for our collaboration partner to the collaboration, development and marketing teams in headquarters and the global customer network of leading institutions collaborating with Siemens Healthineers.
Your expertise:
- Profound scientific MR applications, image reconstruction and/or sequence programming experience and an affinity for clinically relevant applications development in medical imaging with a proven track record.
- Outstanding communication skills to establish and maintain relationships between a variety of people in different roles/levels and physical locations.
- Ideally, you are experienced in working together with physicians or scientists in the field of MR imaging, with a history of publishing in scientific journals.
- Programming proficiency in C++, ideally with experience of the Siemens IDEA sequence development environment (SDE) and image calculation environment (ICE).
- Understanding and experience of quantitative MR applications for neurological diseases.
- An awareness of intellectual property rights and appropriate handling of sensitive intellectual material.
