Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Our client is offering long-term contract roles based in London, as well as permanent roles based in London, Warwick, and Derby.

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading engineering solutions provider, for a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join their team. As the team continues to expand, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong foundation in Electrical Building Services design. You will be responsible for supporting the wider team through design delivery, project coordination, and mentoring junior engineers.

This role offers the chance to work on medium to large-scale projects in highly regulated and complex sectors, playing a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality electrical designs in the built environment, ensuring technical excellence
  • Coordinate and manage design packages, ensuring compliance with client requirements
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, offering support and professional development opportunities
  • Manage medium-sized projects or oversee electrical packages in larger, complex projects
  • Conduct site visits and engage with clients to ensure project success
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about delivering innovative solutions and technical excellence
  • Have experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers
  • Be familiar with managing projects in highly regulated and complex sectors
  • Be proficient in Amtech and Dialux/Relux software
  • Hold a relevant HNC or degree and be chartered (or working towards chartership)
  • Be eligible for security clearance and airside pass applications
