Overview of Business & Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to join a business and team that are pioneering new products and solutions in their field. My client is designing the highest quality Safety Critical Products in their sector which are recognised globally.
As a key member of a multi-skilled engineering team, you will leverage your expertise in your field to ensure that high-quality, competitive products are being delivered. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of high-performance, high-efficiency electronics design.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of electronic designs for new products, along with the design and development of suitable test fixtures.
- Working closely with manufacturing and supply chain divisions to ensure seamless integration of new product designs.
- Maintain existing electronic assemblies through troubleshooting, testing, and redesign as needed.
- Management of obsolescent components.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial environment.
- Expertise in schematic design, PCB layout (using Altium), and both analogue & digital electronics.
- Proven track record of excellent fault-finding.
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
- Designed and/or worked with switch-mode power supplies.
- Knowledge or experience working with BLDC motor systems.
Education:
Degree in a relevant area such as Electronic or Software Engineering.
