Job description Our boatbuilding projects business is expanding, and we have a great opportunity for several skilled boat builders to join our team on a contract basis in East Anglia region. * Starting at £24 p/h * Mon-Fri * Overtime available 50hrs + Flexitime available * Accommodation allowance Duties will include: * 2nd and final fix of finished joinery including high-gloss panels, composite trim, solid hardwood, solid surfaces inc Corian etc. * Assembling and installing bespoke cabinetry. * Complete fitout of the cabin interior. * Working with both conventional and specialist ironmongery. * Involved in other hardware fitting: windows, mirrors, sinks, LED light channels etc. * Reading and understanding technical drawings. * Balancing workload with other trades In order to be successful, you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 6 years marine fitout experience, working knowledge of fitting high-quality joinery, including scribing in to 0.5mm tolerances and have your own tools. The projects we work on often include traditional wooden boats which reflect true craftsmanship, so it is essential that all candidates have a keen eye for detail. must be reliable, be able to work well with others, read drawings and work safely and responsibly with minimal waste.
