Job Description

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Partner to join our high-performing and enthusiastic team in our London office three days a week and working from home for two days. This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will play a critical role by providing a finance partnering service for our Development team along with financial analysis and evaluation of processes. The role will support the achievement of effective financial control and delivery of the financial and operational targets.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a dynamic and insight-driven accountant to join our finance team. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and provide insightful reporting on financial performance to inform decision-making, bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This is an exciting time to join Guinness and the social housing sector with more focus on optimising financial performance than ever before, giving the right candidate an opportunity to make a real difference to the organisation and our residents.

Essential:

  1. Experience of finance partnering and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  2. Good attention to detail with ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed insightful management reports.
  3. Experience of reviewing and analysing business processes to achieve financial improvements.
  4. Technical excellence and experience of contributing to the statutory accounts process.
  5. Experience of completing a detailed forecasting and budgeting process utilising analysis and business intelligence and stakeholder input.
  6. Excellent oral and written communications.
  7. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  8. Experienced in complex financial and work management systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. CCAB or CIMA qualified
