Our client at Daventry Rail Terminal is looking for warehouse/reworkers on a ongoing basis
Be prepared to take on a variety of roles, rotating where required to deliver:-
Packing products
Servicing the line with stock and packing.
Stacking finnished goods on to pallets before being wrapped and taken away.
Be punctual to site and production lines in readiness to start work on time.
To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope or Production Operative
Report any hazards to your Team Leader.
Only work and operate equipment that you have been trained to do so.
Follow the Manual Handling practices as shown in your induction
Keep your work space tidy, as it maintains the Safety for all your colleagues and protects the Product from foreign bodies and the risk of contamination.
Packers – Check products are of the right Quality and Quality to ensure all packs meet the customer’s and consumer’s expectations.
Servicers – Check Dates and Batch Codes to ensure Traceability
Stackers – Carry out a variety of stacking patterns to the correct configuration, to provide count and pack stability.
Previous experience in a copack enviroment
The ability to consistently reach and exceed targets on several lines throughout the Copack Operation
The ability to communicate effectively to the Line Leaders issues relating to the task
The ability to work unsupervised.
