Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

Northern Data Group is seeking a passionate and driven Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective business solutions and enhance service quality through SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure components.
• Work with cross-skilled teams to ensure all business solutions are fit for purpose.
• Identify and define SLIs/SLOs with cross-sectional teams and translate them into meaningful SLAs to improve service value to customers.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Debian/Ubuntu experience preferred but not required).
• Solid understanding of Linux Networking (DHCP, DNS, BGP, VXLAN, IP-fabrics, OVS).
• Excellent communication skills and a team player, especially in remote environments.
• Ability to understand complex/distributed environments, troubleshoot, and resolve issues systematically.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (optional).
• Experience with modern ML stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Vector, Opsgenie).
• Knowledge of DPUs (a plus).
• Python programming skills (a plus).
• PostgreSQL optimization skills (a plus).
