Cherry Professional are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. You will work with the Internal and External stakeholders to maximize profitability, reduce financial risk to the company., * Agree final accounts in a suitable timeframe after completion of all works.

Manage and control any variations and agree with the client accordingly.

Monitor and apply for release of retentions.

Other duties. The job profile is a non-exclusive compilation of duties conducted by this role and other tasks appropriate to the role skills and experiences may be required from time to time.

Cost planning and commercial management throughout the entire life cycle of the live project.

Review of all costs, final preparation and issue of quotation ready to send to our client.

Liaison with the Sales team providing consultation and guidance as to feasibility of each project

Understand risk on projects and report all concerns.

Advise on dispute resolution.

Liaise with Operations Team on Commercial matters.

Submit Interim valuations and payment assessments within the required timeframe to the client

Minimum HNC in a construction related subject.

Computer literate in software such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.

Minimum 5+ years experience in construction or similar related industry

An understanding of the importance of data confidentiality

Reliable person who can lead by example
