HGV Class 1 Driver – £35,000-£44,000 per year – UK work permit mandatory (Shift work & Tramping Roles Available) About us Size Logistics, based in Heathrow TW6, is a logistics solutions company looking at rapid growth projections and providing long term careers for drivers.

We are looking for Class 1 HGV Drivers who are energetic, personable, and put safety at the heart of their job. We provide you with a truck and new kit, but you should have a clean driving record and driving license.

About the role We are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to work via our Heathrow site on a full time, permanent basis. Drivers must be flexible and available to work one weekend day per week. You must have over 2-3 HGV class 1 driving experience.

Drivers will generally work 40-50 hours a week, but extended hours and weekend hours may be necessary, especially around holidays. Tramping roles are now available as well, dedicated truck with option to travel across UK. Please contact us for more details.

HGV Driver Requirements

  • Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C / C+E
  • Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a standard drug and alcohol test
  • Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
  • No more than the maximum of 6 penalty points on the Driver s License (No DD, DR or IN endorsements accepted)
  • Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as Meets Requirements and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.

  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify transport manager of any issues
