Purpose and Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:
- Understand business operations and how IT services, particularly M365, data/BI, CAFM, and Works Management platforms, support and enhance them.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify business challenges and opportunities, and suggest new solutions or modifications to existing services for positive outcomes.
- Research, define, evaluate, and propose technical solutions to meet business needs in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide consultancy on implementing solutions and assist in transitioning changes into service operations.
- Work with senior staff and users to understand business activities, challenges, and innovation needs.
- Partner with Business Analysts, product owners, users, and ICT staff to define technology change requirements.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational requirements and governance standards.
- Research emerging technologies relevant to Vinci Construction UK businesses.
- Maintain awareness of current services and their roadmaps.
- Develop expertise in technical service architecture and interfaces.
- Help create standards and policies for Solution Design.
- Support strategic and operational governance activities within ICT.
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers.
- Assist in defining annual roadmaps and technical visions based on feedback and technology trends.
Experience Required:
- Azure SQL, Data Factory, Analysis Services, and Power BI administration, maintenance, and exploitation.
- Microsoft Azure and Entra administration, maintenance.
- Microsoft Power Platform and Logic Apps administration, maintenance, and exploitation.
- Microsoft SharePoint Online administration, maintenance, and exploitation.
- IT/Related Degree or Qualifications (Desirable).
