Scaffolders Wanted in Ashby De La Zouch – Immediate Start We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team in Ashby De La Zouch, starting immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled individuals looking for long-term work in the East Midlands region. Overview As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures as per site requirements. This is a physically demanding role, and you must be able to work at heights in all weather conditions. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing project needs and deadlines. Our organisational culture values safety above all else, and you will be expected to adhere to strict health and safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the team. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable organisation and work on exciting projects in the East Midlands region. Key Responsibilities Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with site requirements and relevant regulations and guidelines. Conduct daily safety checks and report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor. Collaborate with the team to plan and execute scaffolding operations efficiently. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained. Willingness to travel within the East Midlands region to various project sites. Ability to work 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as per project needs. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance and project availability. Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Scaffolder in the construction industry. Valid CISRS or equivalent scaffolding certification. Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, including TG20:13 and SG4:15. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Physically fit and able to work at heights in all weather conditions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
