Job Description
Portsmouth (Hybrid Working Available – est. 1 to 2 days per week on site)\\nDefence & Aerospace\\n\\nA role has arisen within a niche team of a large UK Defence company for someone with a background in Engineering and experience reviewing systems, software and hardware prior to integration.\\n\\nThis role would suit someone with a Systems Engineering and a Defence background who has an understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle alongside knowledge of quality and safety standards.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nThe Systems Engineer will work closely with a team to conduct assurance activities on acquired systems and software prior to integration. These activities will include reviewing plans and processes, inspections and auditing.
Risks will be identified and documented and non-conformances will be resolved through working with a range of different stakeholders.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nExperience of Systems Engineering experience within the defence sector is sought alongside knowledge of software, data and assurance methods (eg. Audits, inspections and reviews).
