Job Description

Medical Information Executive – Pharmaceuticals\\n\\n£38-42k (experience dependent) + office-based Monday-Friday + excellent benefits + long-term career opportunities with highly successful, global pharmaceutical organisation\\n\\nMedical Information Executive remit includes:\\n\\n * Respond in a timely manner to internal and external customer enquiries relating to client products and disease areas.\\n\\n * Completely and accurately document all Medical Information Requests, Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints.\\n\\n * Perform an initial fact find & reconcile activities of received medical Information enquiries, product complaints and adverse events with other internal and/or external stakeholders.\\n\\n * Ensure Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and that all documentation is maintained in the medical information database.\\n\\n * Monitor and document adherences to the SOPs and escalate any instances of non-compliance.\\n\\n * Interact regularly with other departments including Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service.\\n\\n * Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including the ABPI Code of Practice and MHRA regulations.\\n\\n * Manage and administer annual MI training in line with SOP.\\n\\n * Update regulatory data input into systems / trackers (RIMS) and compile reports\\n\\nMedical Information Executive profile:\\n\\n * BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences or qualified Pharmacist / Masters preferred\\n\\n * Previous pharmaceutical industry experience in Regulatory Affairs (min 1yr) coupled with some experience in a Medical Information role\\n\\n * Working knowledge of PAGB & ABPI Codes of Practice\\n\\n * Experience working to GDP requirements\\n\\n * Confident communication skills and experience interacting successfully with various departments.\\n\\n * Highly customer-centric, solutions-focused, proactive, experience working on multiple projects at any one time.\\n\\n * Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow processes\\n\\n * Highly proficient IT capabilities, experience using CRM to record information and search relevant data sources to answer information requests\\n\\nThis is an exciting time to join a highly successful global pharmaceutical business, which is looking to grow in the UK substantially over the next 3-5yrs, so if the above looks of interest and you have the relevant qualifications, experience and skills required, then please send us a copy of your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch
