Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced NAV / Business Central Developer in the Glasgow area for a growing end-user client with a fantastic culture and future.
This is brand a new opportunity for a BC Developer to join a team and work with a small, warm and friendly cohort, as well as their Microsoft Partner.This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
There are a number of BC projects currently in-flight which are having a positive effect on the user groups and giving a good ROI; you'll get involved with these from day one.
Additionally, you'll manage updates from Microsoft as well as new user requirements, localisations for UK and international, customisations, overseeing testing and validations, and global roll-outs on the platform. Prospects for progression and on-going learning are excellent.
To be a candidate you should be able to demonstrate 3 year's plus experience of:
- The technical design, development, and testing of Business Central Apps
- Develop implement and support customisations in Business Central
- Ensure compliance with support SLAs
- Knowledge of Business Central architecture and functionality on both SaaS and OnPrem
- Perform regression testing for regular D365 updates, and ensure customisations are not impacted.
- Operate using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software development practices – utilising GitHub / Azure Pipelines.
- AL, C/AL & JavaScript and RDLC programming across Dynamics Business Central
- C/SIDE C/AL pipelines use and configuration
- Full understanding of Dynamics Business Central System Architecture.
- End to end technical life cycle tasks, and bespoke module and object development.
- Code review/ 3rd line support
- Robust understanding of SQL and Azure
