Maintenance Engineer (Days, Mon-Fri)

Vickerstock are working in partnership with our food manufacturing client based in Craigavon to recruit a Maintenance Engineer. Our client is the market leader within their field across the island of Ireland and has a reputation for providing high-quality fresh produce to retailers and food manufacturers all across the Island.
This role would be well suited to an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, preferably coming from a food/FMCG environment.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out maintenance on machinery in line with Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules.
- Reacting to breakdowns and prioritizing repairs in line with production requirements.
- Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining clear and concise records of all maintenance activities carried out.
- Providing electrical training to other engineers when necessary.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Electrical qualification.
- Experience in a similar role, carrying out maintenance within a production environment.
- A good understanding of and ability to work from electrical drawings.
- Experience with PLCs.
