Job Description

Location: Luton (Various Locations)\\n\\nStart Date: ASAP\\nPlacement Length: Ongoing\\nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 (37.5 hours per week)\\nPart-time or Job Share options available\\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for a TB Nurse Specialist for our client (NHS Role) based in Luton. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team in a role focused on providing specialist nursing advice in TB management and prevention.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Provide specialist nursing advice for both primary and secondary care, focusing on TB prevention through vaccination, education, and monitoring patients.\\n\\n * Work closely with the UK Health Security Agency and healthcare professionals to implement infection control measures according to established protocols.\\n\\n * Support patient care across a variety of departments and settings, ensuring effective collaboration with other teams.\\n\\nRequired Skills & Experience:\\n\\n * RGN Qualification with current NMC Registration.\\n\\n * Post-registration experience in a community or acute care setting.\\n\\n * Sound knowledge and experience in TB management and treatment.\\n\\n * Experience in developing and working with clinical protocols and pathways.\\n\\n * Familiarity with screening and immunisation programmes.\\n\\n * Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.\\n\\n * Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.\\n\\n * Flexibility and adaptability in clinical situations.\\n\\n * Experience in undertaking patient assessments and providing care in various settings.\\n\\nIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in this role, please submit your CV.
