We are looking for a skilled Site Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunication projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in interpreting business needs, making critical decisions, and assessing potential risks and impacts of changes.
In this role, you will collaborate with team members and work independently to ensure project success. Additionally, you will foster team development and provide career enhancement advice whenever possible.
We are seeking individuals in the following locations: Newcastle, Sunderland, Carlisle, Borders of Scotland, Edinburgh, and Glasgow.

Conduct detailed site surveys and provide comprehensive reports to pre-sales for accurate cost modeling. Ensure all areas are captured by coordinating with the site point of contact.

Oversee daily site operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Plan and prepare the site before work begins, ensuring all tasks are carefully organized.

Monitor and report on project progress, manage deliveries, conduct safety checks, and resolve any issues that arise promptly.

Maintain communication with the site team, project team, and site contacts, ensuring a professional approach at all times.

Ensure all work complies with building and security regulations, health and safety legislation, and other legal requirements.

Plan and organize site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and operated by trained staff.

Ensure all staff and visitors are cleared for the site by consulting with the project manager or security department.

Log and report any work not meeting standards to the project manager immediately.

Control and monitor site waste in line with the Company’s Site Waste Minimisation and Management policy.

Uphold and promote the company’s values in all actions, acting ethically and responsibly in all dealings with stakeholders, the public, and team members.

Ability to obtain MOD SC clearance and willing to undergo DV clearance if required and/orMOJ clearance and willing to undertake other clearances.

Must hold SMSTS qualification or willing to obtain.

Must be a CSCS card holder to a level of site manager.

Ideally 5 years minimum experience of working within the telecommunication environment as a site manager and/or 5 years as an engineer.

Exceptional understanding of telecommunication copper/Fibre, & Voice networks

Exceptional understanding of telecommunication civil installations
-
Excellent communication skills

Good IT skills to include the MS suite of products and MS Project

Good financial budget control

Must hold a full clean UK Driving License

Basic use of CAD

Basic use of Visio

Understanding of CCTV and door entry systems running over telecom networks
