Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager β Supply Chain to join a fast-growing FMCG business based in West London. This role offers hybrid working options and significant exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual inventory budgeting process and quarterly budget/forecast reviews.
- Establish and maintain standard costing for products and regularly review and update as needed.
- Provide timely and accurate cost information to support decision-making by management.
- Implement and monitor financial controls to enhance factory efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize operational costs.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to management.
- Analyse SKU-level profitability and contribute to product pricing strategies.
- Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure that the product mix aligns with profitability goals.
- Develop and maintain reports to track SKU performance over time and make data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with the production & logistics teams to identify areas of improvement and drive growth.
- Work closely with New Product teams to ensure accurate costing of new products during the development phase, guiding towards cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Equivalent.
- 5 years+ experience in Supply Chain, Finance or Business Analysis roles, ideally within a retail or FMCG business.
- Experience of Supply Chain industry metrics.
- Analytical with a high degree of numeracy and accuracy.
