As our National Fleet Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our fleet is fully optimized to support business operations across the UK.
Your Role
- Oversee and manage our fleet of tractor units, rigids, and trailers, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and control fleet Capex budgets, advising on cost-effective solutions for replacements and procurement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our fleet, including vehicle specifications, MOT, TAX, and mileage data.
- Implement and manage a best-in-class Fleet Management System across all Group workshops.
- Work with Workshop Managers to ensure maintenance, repairs, and compliance standards are met.
- Conduct regular audits of workshop facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and legal compliance.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective solutions and operational improvements.
- Manage company car sourcing, ensuring adherence to Group policies.
- Lead and support training initiatives for workshop employees and apprentices.
