Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Analytical Team Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Leicestershire area. As the Analytical Team Lead you will be responsible for the execution of a first-rate raw materials testing service that supports intricate pharmaceutical projects and to offer technical leadership, management, and coaching for operational analytical teams. You will also oversee the advancement of analytical work in accordance with cGMP regulations, make sure that project deadlines are fulfilled, that work is completed accurately and efficiently, and to notify their head of department on a regular basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and design the analytical strategy for the raw materials testing function.
- Be able to prepare regulatory CMC Dossier sections.
- Train and oversee Analytical Lab Leader, Senior Analysts and Junior Analysts performance.
- Implement and monitor systems/processes within the Laboratory to ensure cGMP compliance and the efficient delivery of PDS projects. Drive change where required to improve systems and processes.
Role Requirements
- Relevant degree in a chemistry related discipline.
- Proven industry experience in development activities for drug development in a GMP environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with management of an analytical chemistry function/facility in the pharmaceutical industry.
