Job Description
SAP EWM MFS Consultant
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of an SAP EWM MFS Consultant for a 6 month rolling contract inside IR35 based in Manchester requiring 2-3 days on-site and providing the rest per week remote.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience as an SAP MFS Consultant, specializing in complex Warehouse Automation projects. Proven experience in delivering at least two end-to-end MFS implementations in Warehouse Automation projects, including integration with AGV, Conveyor Systems, Palletizers, Wrappers, Printers, and other relevant automation equipment, strong technical knowledge of SAP MFS functionalities, configuration, and integration with automation components Hands-on experience in defining and configuring interfaces, communication protocols, and data exchange mechanisms between SAP MFS and automation equipment Excellent understanding of warehouse automation processes, material flow optimization, layout design, and automation control strategies Proficient in MFS documentation practices, including functional and technical specifications, process flowcharts, and user manuals Solid experience in conducting system testing, issue resolution, and providing post-go-live support for MFS and automation components Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyse complex warehouse environments.
