Role: Senior Automation Engineer (SME)
Location: Remote (Occasionally need to travel to Bromley or London)
Duration: 12 Months
Experience and Skills required:
- Good knowledge on Test Automation Framework like Data-Driven, BDD, hybrid framework
- SQL, Unix knowledge
- Experience as a QA Engineer and framework Selenium TypeScript
- Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
- Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures
- Understanding of testing protocols
- Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with the software development process
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and prioritizing testing activities
- Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
- Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test the functionality and regression.
- Suggesting automated software test procedures
- Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
- Pointing out problem areas
- Troubleshooting automation software issues
- Creating test plans and cases
- Preparing detailed test reports
- Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
