Your role

Are you a skilled Growth Marketeer with a strong mindset for business growth? Join us as a Sr. Marketing Manager where you’ll plan and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns and initiatives for UK & IE region that are meant to generate business pipeline, opportunities and ultimately market growth. You’ll collaborate with global, regional teams and dedicated vendors to ensure corporate alignment on objectives and strategies while delivering excellent results for the subregion.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for the subregional digital strategy, the development, implementation and execution of data-driven subregional go-to-market campaigns, aiming to increase brand awareness and generate leads. What you’ll do

Content

  1. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across the global marketing team and subregional marketing team to build and deliver integrated subregional campaigns and content calendars to deliver data driven GTM campaigns to subregional target markets, ensuring alignment with global marketing plan.
  2. Leverage global content and execute the data-driven campaigns across the subregion with the localization of global content for subregional audiences, designed to accelerate their journey through the sales funnel.
  3. Drive content across all channels to the subregion’s target markets, establishing clear success criteria (KPIs) for campaign performance and lead generation.
  4. Safeguard Digital Realty’s brand identity and voice, messaging, and positioning across all external communications and align all content with global narratives and guidelines.
  5. Provide subregion marketing operations support and be a subject matter expert for Marketo with campaign development and implementation aligned with the global marketing operations team.

Digital Marketing

  1. Leverage digital marketing channels to push Digital Realty’s global data center platform, global capabilities, and global brand, driving increased awareness, engagement, and demand generation to the subregional audience. Support the subregion and the region to build a range of digital marketing tactics and campaigns to drive leads across the sales funnel.
  2. Support the subregion and the region in the delivery of relevant campaigns, aligned with global messaging, personalized for the local audience, including but not limited to content syndication, 3rd party display, PPL, paid search, banner advertising, organic social, paid social, email, etc. Leverage global vendor relationships wherever possible.
  3. Success in this role measured by analyzing the penetration and engagement within the subregional and local audience about our global position, as well as leads, opportunities and revenue from the subregional audience and A-End organizations in the subregion.

Web production and content authorship

  1. Manage and co-ordinate subregion’s web pages, microsites, LPs, and campaigns to Digital Realty websites, working closely and in alignment with the global marketing team.
  2. Align to the global website experience and user journey, personalizing this to the subregional/local audience, with a focus on accelerating the sales funnel and moving users towards conversion/demand generation.

Paid Ads

  1. Deliver the Digital Realty global paid search, display & paid social strategy within the subregion, adjusted for the subregional audience, working in close collaboration with the global marketing team.
  2. Responsible for the implementation, upkeep, execution, measurement, and best practices for the subregion’s paid program and the performance and success of Search/Display/Paid Social activities.
  3. Continually test different tactics (copy, landing pages, keyword targeting).
  4. Planning and managing of subregion’s paid advertising budgets and pacing to ensure spend limits come in on target.
  5. Work directly with global, regional, and local teams to communicate results and opportunities within paid activities.

Search Engine Optimization

  1. Deliver the Digital Realty global organic search and SEO content strategy within the subregion, adjusted for the subregional/local audience, working in close collaboration with the global marketing team.
  2. Act as a local subject-matter-expert on user search behavior and demand and personalize web content in alignment with this user behavior to drive increased organic engagement.
  3. Make on-page optimizations to drive increased organic traffic and engagement and accelerate movement through the user journey and sales funnel, including but not limited to keyword research and implementation, metadata refinements, contextual linking updates, and backlink checks.
  4. Leverage tools and vendor relationships to identify SEO opportunities. Work directly with global, regional, and local markets to communicate the opportunities within organic search and then track the results.

Lead routing

  1. Database management and active administration of the CRM database, including working with sales to ensure the correct tagging and tracking of marketing campaigns to attribute leads to marketing activities, and the governance of the contact and prospect database in line with GDPR and compliance requirements.

What you’ll need

  1. Extensive experience within technology industry field marketing, channel marketing, business development.
  2. Strong, demonstrated understanding of local marketing approaches to acquire and retain customers.
  3. Strong technology skills, including MS Office, Salesforce, Pardot, LinkedIn.
  4. Understanding of GDPR requirements and privacy regulations for marketing activities.
  5. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholder groups.
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and take remedial actions.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Excellent planning skills; creation and follow-up of plans, setting priorities.
  9. Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  10. Independent and proactive thinking and work style.
  11. Positive attitude towards transformation and change; motivated to work in a fast-growing market.
  12. Has informal and formal leadership style and is used to working in a matrix environment.
  13. Understands how to deliver clearly defined and measurable results with impact.

Qualifications

  1. Educated to degree level in either Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent.
  2. Preferably CIM or marketing accreditation.
  3. 10+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing environment, in the technology sector.
  4. Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management and sales teams.
  5. Fluent and articulate in English, both in writing and orally.
  6. Experience in agency management.
  7. Experience in account-based marketing and sales enablement.
  8. Experience of using Marketing Automation platforms (Pardot, Marketo) to drive and optimize marketing performance.
