Job Description
About the Role:\\n\\nWe are looking for a skilled AVLM Field Support Engineer to join our Integration team. This role involves providing professional services to support and maintain high-profile projects, key long-term clients, and AVLM SLA customers. You will be responsible for supporting the programming, commissioning, and testing of integrated audio, video, lighting, and media systems within the Broadcast, Leisure, Corporate, and Entertainment sectors.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nSupport AVLM system programming, commissioning, and testing before and after project completion.\\nAssist in the creation of O&M documentation and end-user guides.\\nProvide ongoing support for AVLM systems as part of customer SLA agreements.\\nSet up and support audio, visual, lighting, and media systems; conduct user training as required.\\nAssist with projection, LED video wall alignment/calibration, and testing.\\nProvide remote support and fault diagnosis for customers in line with SLAs.\\nOffer 2nd Line Onsite Technical support for fault finding and issue resolution.\\nCollaborate with commissioning, service, and support teams to improve solutions.\\nParticipate in a support/call-out rota to cover extended support hours.\\nAttend pre-planned maintenance/support visits, including system servicing, software/firmware upgrades, and resolving outstanding tickets.\\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for fault resolution.Technical Skills and Experience:\\n\\nProven IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).\\nExtensive experience in AVLM systems, including programming, commissioning, testing, and fault finding.\\nKnowledge of system integration, AV control systems, and converged IP networks.\\nExperience with AVLM software programming and commissioning is essential.\\nFamiliarity with real-time render engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, Notch, etc.) is advantageous.\\nPrior experience with Disguise/Pixera media servers is a plus.\\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for both hardware and software issues.\\nA solid understanding of current industry legislation and AVLM system integration regulations.Qualifications and Requirements:\\n\\nECS Card Holder.\\nRelevant qualifications or experience in Electrical, Audio, Visual, Lighting, or Media Systems disciplines.\\nFull clean driving license is required (essential).\\nWillingness to travel for site visits, including international and overnight stays.Additional Information:\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for AVLM systems, troubleshooting, and client support.
