Location: HMP Downview

Salary: £45,303.07 + an additional £2,500 in RRA per annum

Contract: Full Time – Perm (39hrs)

HMP Downview operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds to keep it functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Five years\’ experience as an electrician or equivalent
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, building services
• Experience supervising staff
• Full driving license, preferably with D1
• C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• Certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements For Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
