Our client’s Kidney Institute provides acute and chronic renal impairment services for the 1.8m population of South Yorkshire in a network with other trusts. As one of the largest renal units in the country, Sheffield Kidney Institute currently provides dialysis for 675 patients. Haemodialysis facilities are sited in the base unit at the main site and in satellite dialysis units at other nearby trusts, which together dialyse 560 patients.
