Job Description

This top-tier New Zealand law firm has several vacancies for junior to mid-level finance lawyers with expertise in general banking and finance law or project finance law.

The roles will suit returning NZ lawyers or UK/Commonwealth qualified lawyers who are keen to gain high-quality experience with a market leading team whilst enjoying life in one of the world’s most attractive locations. The firm can assist with visas and relocation costs.

To be considered you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be admitted in New Zealand, Australia, UK or South Africa;
  • NQ lawyers who have completed two-years as a trainee should have at least one rotation/seat in finance;
  • Lawyers qualified in a jurisdiction without a two-year training contract should have a minimum of two years’ post-admission experience;
  • Experience of working on high-value banking and finance or project finance matters with a respected commercial law firm;
  • Be committed to relocating and spending at least two years in Auckland if successful.
