The Role – What You\’ll Be Doing
As a Corporate Finance Analyst, you will work closely with senior professionals on a wide range of corporate transactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Analysis & Valuations – Conducting company valuations, financial modelling, and sector research.
- Transaction Support – Assisting in M&A deals, fundraising, and strategic advisory projects.
- Market Research & Intelligence – Analysing industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
- Client Presentations & Reports – Preparing pitch materials, buyer lists, and acquisition target analyses.
- Deal Origination & Business Development – Identifying new clients and supporting marketing initiatives.
- Professional Training & ICAEW Qualification – Becoming a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with full sponsorship from Heligan Group.
Who We\’re Looking For
- Degree: 2:1 or above in Business, Economics, Finance, Maths, or a related subject.
- Grade 7 (or above) in GCSE Maths and English Language and the equivalent of 112 UCAS points.
- Over the age of 21 with the ability to work in the UK.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent research and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Commercial awareness, with an interest in UK business, finance, and investment trends.
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
