Job Description:
The L-Acoustics Creative Software team is looking for a highly motivated C++ developer to join our dynamic team of engineers and designers.
The team develops a range of market-leading professional software control applications and embedded audio products for live music events, festivals, sound installations and more.
Our product range is focused on high-channel count, spatial audio sound reinforcement solutions for the most discerning audio productions, from studio to stage. We offer a full system approach where every component is designed to work seamlessly with the rest of the system.
As part of the Creative Software SCRUM Team, you will be working on cross-platform (macOS, Windows, Linux) software and firmware, focusing on all aspects of the product such as User Interface, Networking, Interoperability with third-party systems, Audio Processing, Performance optimizations, and Automated testing.
Requirements:
- Product mindset: high interest in providing beautiful interfaces and workflows to users. You find satisfaction in delivering a product as well as nice code.
- Experience working in a product team with Product Owners and Designers.
- Strong C++ and Standard Library knowledge with at least 5 years of software engineering experience on commercial products.
- Experience in an industry where software performance and reliability are crucial (Medical, Defense, Automotive, Aerospace, Financial, etc.).
- Good understanding of object-oriented design and architecture techniques with experience in implementing design patterns.
- Proven ability in solving complex problems, debugging, and profiling.
- Experience of UI design and frameworks such as JUCE or Qt.
- Experience using collaborative tools and CI/CD systems (Git, CMake, Jenkins).
- Master’s degree qualification in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of OSC, MIDI, music control systems / DAWs.
