Are you an Assistant Manager or Business Services Assistant Manager, with experience of both audit and accounts assignments? Are you fully ACA qualified with at least 1 year PQE, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End based accountancy practice in an easily accessible location? This growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an ACA qualified Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager / Business Services Assistant Manager due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms.
Your role will be varied and will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of clients (including a mixture of corporate clients and individuals).
- Reporting directly to Manager and Partner level.
- Liaising directly with all clients.
- Leading and managing audits from start to finish.
- Preparing statutory accounts from start to finish under both FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Preparing corporation tax returns and offering clients advice on how to improve their business.
- Working on Personal tax returns, VAT returns, various reports, analysis and business management assignments.
- Staff management duties and reviewing work.
You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future including the chance to be promoted to a higher level in a short space of time. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative, media and Film & TV clients is essential.
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified ACA with at least 1 year PQE and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly up to date audit experience, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish (especially for FRS 102 clients), tax returns (ideally both corporation tax and personal tax) and reviewing work. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern boutique West End based accountancy firm which works with high profile Media, Entertainment, Creative, Film & TV clients. They offer hybrid working – 4 days in the office and 1 day from home plus flexi start / finish times.
