Overview of the role
This is an exciting role providing support to the B2B Team, a core part of Halfords Group, through providing effective business partnering and the creation of financial reporting which drives decision making. As a Finance Business Partner you will provide effective analysis across the B2B Team as required, working with a range of Senior Stakeholders, with specific focus on Commercial Fleet Services and Fleet.
This role reports into the Head of Finance- B2B for the Halfords Group.
What will the role involve?
- Supporting the B2B Leadership team in the delivery of the B2B strategy, driving business performance by providing appropriate financial support.
- Producing financial analysis and commentary – including weekly and monthly reporting, providing accurate, timely and insightful information, and support with appropriate decision making.
- Supporting the B2B Leadership Teams in understanding and controlling costs, challenging where necessary, and helping to drive operational efficiencies.
- Holding a key role in the creation of budgets and forecasts for future activity, inputting into risk and opportunity processes where relevant.
- Providing ad hoc financial information and analysis to key stakeholders to help support various projects.
- Be comfortable a ppraising investments and business opportunities, using appropriate financial modelling to drive decision making including using NPV calculations and sensitivity analysis.
- Presenting as necessary to the B2B Senior Leadership Team on matters such as monthly performance and strategic initiatives.
- Deputise for the Head of Finance – B2B where appropriate.

- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience in business partnering desirable.
- The role is based at our Support Centre in Redditch, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be office based.
