Job Title: Program / Project Manager
Contract Duration: 5 Months
Pay rate: up to $53.43/hr

Location: Westminster, CA
Responsibilities:
- Workload: 4 -5 separate emerging technology projects
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources, including team members, budget, and equipment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the project team, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation for future reference and compliance.
Required Skills:
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate the project team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues and conflicts.
- Time Management: Effective time management skills to ensure project milestones are met.
- Budgeting: Competence in budget planning and financial management.
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
- Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and resource allocation.
- Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical concepts relevant to the project (hardware field devices, software, renewable energy, engineering).
Notes:
- Understanding of FAA and Department of Transportation Requirements, including:
- Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14: Aeronautics and Space, Chapter 1: Federal Aviation Administration, Department Of Transportation, Subchapter E: Airspace, Part 77: Safe, Efficient Use, and Preservation of the Navigable Airspace.
- Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration (Form 7460-1) with the FAA when meeting applicable filing requirements.
- Filing a supplemental notice within five (5) days of an above-ground asset reaching its greatest height of construction or alteration by filing FAA form 7460-2 Part 2.
- FAA Advisory Circular 70/7460-1L.
- U.S. Department of Transportation, FAA Advisory Circular AC 70/7460-1L: Obstruction Marking and Lighting.
