We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Buildings Team. This role will support on a major commercial project in London.

What you\’ll bring to the role:

  • Control the cost management for project and provide financial reporting regularly.
  • Understand the contractual requirements of project documents including the roles and responsibilities of all involved and the notices required to record change etc. Ensure all required notices are issued in a timely manner.
  • Assist in risk and opportunity management (with operations team) of known and newly identified risks and opportunities for best project return.
  • Prepare subcontract documentation, issue enquiries, and negotiate agreements including interim and final accounts.
  • Utilise and comply with company procedures in relation to commercial site procedures, systems, cost control, variations of contract and method of measurement.
  • Working knowledge of one or more forms of construction contracts i.e. JCT, NEC, Bespoke.
  • BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject.
  • Preferably qualified or working towards ICES or RICS accreditation.
  • Self-motivated and confident, financially astute with good communication skills.
  • SMSTS qualified with the relevant CSCS Card.
  • Proven track record working on projects of £80m plus.
