This New York headquartered US firm has a leading US litigation practice. International growth is high on the agenda with recent significant hires in Europe. The firm launched the litigation practice in London about 6 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. The new managing partner is a litigation partner and hence the growth of the London team is close to his heart.
The practice covers both litigation and arbitration and is currently working on various international disputes. The team is well regarded for finance and technology disputes. The current team of lawyers had a great 2024 and the pipeline is strong for 2025. The firm understands litigation and will support a lateral partner hire. The ambitions of the London head of litigation are to continue to build upon those sector strengths, to maintain a collegiate and supportive culture and continue to grow to a critical mass where the team can credibly pitch for more substantial litigation matters.
