Job Description:

Driver Hire London North are currently recruiting for a corporate removal company. The company was established in 1996 and has built a strong reputation within the removal field.

Our client requires drivers on an ad-hoc basis. Drivers will need to assist with the removals; however, they are not expected to complete removal jobs themselves, as the company has porters available to assist.

The managers and team coordinators will assign an appropriate number of drivers/porters for any job to ensure the work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with health and safety laws and regulations.

1. Driving a C1 or Class 2 vehicle (depending on your entitlements)
2. Assisting with loading/unloading of vehicles
3. Route planning
4. Driving in accordance with the road traffic act
5. Performing pre-trip vehicle inspections and end-of-shift inspections
6. Filling out necessary paperwork
7. Complying with applicable legislation, i.e., driver hour laws and working time laws
