We are seeking a strategic and innovative Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts at Enspec Power. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving brand awareness, market positioning, and demand generation strategies across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working with marketing teams, ensuring that Enspec’s marketing initiatives support business growth, customer engagement, and industry leadership.
This role requires developing a strong technical understanding of our industry, and product and services ranges, a data-driven approach, and the ability to translate complex engineering solutions into compelling, commercially focused marketing strategies that position Enspec as a premium precision-engineering brand.
Responsibilities – will include but not be exclusive to:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy across a wide range of products and services that align with business objectives.
- Utilise our clearly defined brand guidelines to ensure brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate Enspec in the market.
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns, with regular reporting and measurable ROI.
- Drive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges.
- Work closely with the CEO, Sales, and Technical Leaders to ensure marketing aligns with commercial objectives.
- Create regular reports evaluating the performance of the previous months/quarters, identifying what went well and what didn’t, analysing trends impacting performance, and future forecasting, and applying this information for optimised future campaigns.
- Support in the forming and optimising of marketing processes and how different departments will collaborate for top quality results.
Brand & Content Strategy
- Oversee the creation and consistency of compelling thought leadership, case studies, whitepapers, and technical content that showcase Enspec’s expertise.
- Lead the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive brand voice across all touchpoints.
- Strengthen Enspec’s digital presence, including SEO, website optimisation, and social media engagement.
- Create a baseline of recorded content platforms, including regular technical webinars and an industry relevant podcast, that leverages our internal experts and thought leaders in discussions around industry trends and solutions.
- Oversee PR, media outreach, and industry events to increase brand awareness.
- Lead submissions of industry specific awards for the brand, notable projects, and key team members.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Oversee SEO, paid media, and email marketing strategies to increase inbound leads.
- Ensure the company website and CRM systems are optimised for engagement and conversions.
- Oversee campaign performance analytics, reporting on agreed KPIs.
- Build, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and content partners to scale marketing efforts.
- Partner with the Technical and Sales teams to ensure messaging aligns with industry trends and client needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a senior B2B marketing role, preferably within engineering, energy, or technical industries.
- Strong experience in strategic marketing planning, brand positioning, and demand generation.
- Deep understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and data analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation).
- Expertise in content marketing, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and external partners effectively.
- Experience with exhibitions, industry events, and PR initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and growing a marketing team.
- Strong capability in reporting and presentation to the board on the impact of department efforts and how they align to pre-agreed business objectives.
