Assist with the overall running of the Company's day to day claims handling and functions, across short-tail lines (PVT, Political Risks, Cargo, Specie).

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Assist the Company claim function by developing their Operational Strategy ensuring focus on gaining improvement and efficiencies throughout the Claims Management Life Cycle, making best use of data, skills of their people and technology alike.
- Liaise with external partners, such as third-party administrators and delegated claims adjusters, to ensure service levels are maintained and all claims bordereaux are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate the technical ability to handle and review claims files, accurately addressing complex matters, short tail focus, minimising leakage and ensuring appropriate spend leading to excellent file outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Educated to A-Level or beyond is preferable.
- CII Qualification is preferable.
- At least 5 years Claims experience within the London Market in the short-tail lines of business (PVT, Political Risks, Cargo, Specie).
- Strong Technical London Market Claims Handling Experience (carrier side preferable).
- Understanding of London and International insurance/reinsurance market dynamics.
