Application Security Architect London / WFH to £150k

Do you have expertise with Application Security within a financial services environment?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, impactful role at a global prime broker that is replacing the legacy infrastructure used across capital markets with a new cloud-native clearing and custody system, designed for today’s complex global markets.

As an Application Security Architect, you will lead the application security efforts as part of the product development lifecycle, collaborating with the CISO on Greenfield development projects to ensure security is built in from the start.

Responsibilities will encompass analysing and assessing cyber security risks, building mitigation plans for addressing these risks, collaborating with R&D teams on implementing mitigation strategies, taking part in product design sessions, establishing secure coding and secure testing practices, and running penetration tests, both internally and on 3rd party suppliers.

Location / WFH:

You’ll join a small, highly talented and collaborative team in the London, City office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two.

About you:

  • You have expertise in running secure software development lifecycle processes
  • You come from a software engineering background (Golang / Java preferred)
  • You have strong software design knowledge
  • You have a good understanding of cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred) and Kubernetes
  • You have experience of securing code within a financial services environment
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
