Job Description:
Ecommerce & Digital Director
London/New York
My leading, global beauty client is currently looking for an Ecommerce & Digital Director to join their team in London due to exciting changes in the business. This role will have a high emphasis on remote work; however, availability to travel to New York is required.
As the Ecommerce & Digital Director, you will strategically manage all ecommerce activities across brand websites and channels for two brands within the group to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while achieving ambitious KPIs. You will oversee the management and optimization of website content and functionality, ensuring a seamless customer journey, and will also oversee the rollout of an in-store CRM app working with the digital project manager. Additionally, you will develop CRM strategies for both B2B and B2C segments to drive consumer acquisition, retention, and purchase conversion. Budget planning and management, including P&L for both brands, will be part of your responsibilities. You will report to the marketing director and manage four direct reports in the team. The role has a strong ecommerce focus with strategic management of digital marketing channels such as PPC, remarketing, affiliates, email, and SEO.
The successful candidate must have strong ecommerce experience with a proven track record of building and implementing successful ecommerce strategies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple brands, projects, and departments. You should be a self-starter with a proactive approach, a great leader with strong management and communication skills, and comfortable with change management. Experience working with customer segmentation and personalization is also required, as well as experience managing ecommerce in the USA or North America.
