Job Description:

The goal: Our mission is to reimagine the paper-based processes that underpin trade finance globally, using tools such as Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. There is a huge opportunity to replace the current paper-based, manual and cumbersome trade finance industry with an end-to-end automated, digital, online, and real-time solution that makes the lives of banks, corporates, SMEs, and other constituencies much easier.

What we do: Traydstream’s unique AI-powered products reduce the costs, complexities, and timescales of trade finance processing for banks and large corporations. Our scalable platform uses proprietary Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to digitize documents and applies machine learning algorithms to ensure compliance with international trading rules.

Who you are: We are searching for someone who has the passion and gravitas to originate, with experience in the corporate world to command respect and be a thought leader in sales. You will oversee client identification, presales, account management, and mandate closure while nurturing relationships with corporates.

Responsibilities:

  1. Scope business opportunities across countries and client segments.
  2. Identify client opportunities for digitization and propose relevant recommendations.
  3. Strategize on origination for the responsible portfolio.
  4. Work closely with internal teams to build and present bespoke presentations.
  5. Present product demos to potential clients.
  6. Negotiate contract terms and close sales.
  7. Oversee client RFPs and ensure product information meets client requirements.
  8. Manage and execute pilots, mandates, and oversee implementations.
  9. Prepare client collateral for new releases.
  10. Communicate directly with clients to resolve hurdles.
  11. Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams.
  12. Collaborate with Operations teams for seamless transaction processing.
  13. Identify and document platform risks.
  14. Analyze data to learn about client transactions.
  15. Support client training initiatives.
  16. Manage client renewal dates and rates.
  17. Ensure documentation aligns with legal counsel for renewals.
  18. Prepare for new release notes & walkthroughs for clients.
  19. Provide feedback to Product and Technology teams.
  20. Lead a team of Managers and Analysts in the region.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in Trade Finance and Cloud-based solutions.
  2. Proven history of meeting sales targets.
  3. Experience in negotiation and meeting client requirements.
  4. Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  7. Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data.
  8. Strong vertical and lateral thinking abilities.
  9. BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  10. Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  11. Strong understanding of the banking or trade finance industry is desirable.
  12. Experience working in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Insurance, or FX industries is a plus.
  13. Working knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM system.
  14. Self-starter with the ability to inspire and nurture.
