This position of an IT Intern is to support the ICT team in various technological initiatives while gaining practical experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology. The IT Intern will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software, providing technical support to staff, and contributing to ongoing ICT projects. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience in systems administration, network management and technical support enabling the intern to develop skills essential for a successful career in ICT.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users by resolving desktop and production software, hardware and network issues
- Assist in the setup, configuration and maintain the functionality of the company’s applications, systems and hardware
- Help with data backups, system restores and general maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues under the guidance of the IT Manager
- Participate in IT-related operational tasks to support the business
- Assist with Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Handle any reasonable requests within the scope of your competencies
- Provide cover for the IT Manager during leave or periods of high activity

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
- ICT (Information Communications Technician) level 3 apprenticeship standard
- You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills
- Your training will include gaining a level 3 IT qualification
