We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to work in their welding machine workshop.

About This Role

  • Monday to Friday (no weekends)
  • Working hours 08:00am- 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment.
  • Inspect machines when they return from hire to check for any faults.
  • Prepare machines to be ready for hire, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Ensure all safety standards are adhered to while performing maintenance and repairs.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly desirable.
  • Agricultural experience would be considered an additional advantage.
  • Forklift engineering experience is also a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
