Maintenance Planner

Our client in Hindlow, UK is seeking a Maintenance Planner to play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize resource utilization, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Optimize Resource Allocation: Analyze and optimize resources, parts, and manpower to execute projects smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance maintenance processes and long-term project planning.
  • Oversee SAP PM System: Serve as the go-to expert on the site’s SAP PM system, ensuring its effective use and optimization.
  • Track Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling.
  • CMMS Expertise: Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access); SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills; self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
