Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. Audi’s Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group’s Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and optimizing the structural components of our Formula 1 vehicles to ensure maximum performance, reliability and safety.
Your mission
- Provide structural support on all stages of project development using HyperMesh and ABAQUS/Optistruct to ensure structurally efficient components.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to deliver performance in a short timescale
- Continuously improve and innovate structural analysis methodologies, tools and processes
- Present results in a clear and concise manner
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in motorsport industry (including Formula Student)
- Proven experience with finite element analysis (FEA) tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
