STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding and seeking a skilled A320 B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team in Newquay, UK . If you have a passion for aviation and want to contribute to the success of a leading UK MRO, this is your opportunity to make a real difference. You will play a key role in our Newquay Hangar, ensuring that maintenance activities are performed to the highest standards.

Please Note: You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom for any employer.

We are looking to recruit a Permanent B1CAA Licensed Engineer to join our Newquay Hangar. We would be looking for engineers with the following type ratings:

  • A320 CFM56/V2500 and/or LEAP1A/PW 1000
  • B737 NG CFM 56 and/or MAX PW1100

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft, including both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Certify maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
  • Lead and supervise aircraft mechanics and support staff, setting high standards for maintenance execution.
  • Ensure timely and efficient maintenance activities, achieving customer satisfaction through on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability.

Skills and Experience:

  • Part 66 CAA License, B1.
  • Previous Base Maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving License is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Type Ratings Preferred:

  • A320 CFM56/V2500 and/or LEAP1A/PW 1000
  • B737 NG CFM 56 and/or MAX PW1100
