Job Description:

As a Vending Machine Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless operation of snack, can/bottle, and automatic hot drinks machines. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Diagnostic Expertise: swiftly diagnose and address malfunctions, minimising downtime and ensuring optimal machine performance.
2. Proactive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and implement preventive measures to uphold peak machine performance.
3. Technical Repairs: Expertly replace or repair faulty components, including dispensing mechanisms and electrical elements, to restore machines to working order.
4. Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory for timely repairs, respond professionally to service calls, and deliver effective customer support.
5. Technical Expertise: Program and calibrate machines for consistent high-quality beverage dispensing, stay abreast of software enhancements and maintain meticulous records for performance analysis.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualities:

1. Experience: Previous experience within coffee or vending machines is highly desirable.
2. Technical Skills: Showcase strong electromechanical skills, demonstrating a keen ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
3. Organisational Excellence: Possess strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
4. Driver’s License: A Full Driving Licence is a prerequisite for this role.
5. Punctuality: Exhibit excellent timekeeping skills, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
6. IT Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in IT, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
