The Role: We are now seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our dynamic and growing team. Based in Welshpool, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a dedicated workshop team while working with cutting-edge equipment and machinery.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Lead and mentor the workshop team, ensuring safety and high standards of performance
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to maintain strong relationships and ensure seamless service
  • Manage procurement of parts and contractor services as required
  • Oversee machine on-hire and off-hire inspections, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance
  • Guarantee equipment is returned to service on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement within the maintenance department, enhancing systems and processes
  • Lead daily planning for maintenance activities across the Metro & Greater Perth Area
  • Develop and build the skills and competency of the maintenance team to ensure top-tier service delivery

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a similar supervisory or leadership role within a workshop environment
  • Strong knowledge of workshop job planning and workflow management
  • Experience with workshop systems and procedures; familiarity with InspHire or similar systems is desirable
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in using computers and software tools such as Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Forklift Licence and Current Manual Driver’s Licence
