The Role:
As part of the Category & In-Store Commercial Team, you’ll play a key role in translating category insights into action, developing best-in-class range, display, and distribution strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key grocery customers.
- Lead the category vision and strategy, influencing both internally and externally
- Develop and execute a point-of-purchase vision and plan for the category
- Drive distribution, range, and display targets, ensuring optimal shelf presence
- Work closely with customers to create joint category plans for brand and private label growth
- Use data and insights to shape category strategies and commercial decision-making
- Build strong customer partnerships and influence key stakeholders
- Stay ahead of market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitive insights
- Champion the in-store execution agenda by ensuring category principles are embedded at the point of purchase
You:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Category Management within FMCG
- Experience working with major grocery retailers
- Strong understanding of shopper, consumer, and customer dynamics across grocery, online, and convenience channels
