Job Title: Senior Buyer – Pallet Industry
Location: Doncaster
Salary: 35,000 – 40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Office-based)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Buyer to join our team in the pallet industry. Based in Doncaster, this role is integral to sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality pallet products. You will work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and achieve cost-effective procurement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet business requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and delivery times.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and product innovations.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to meet production demands.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Assist in managing budgets and achieving cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the pallet or manufacturing industries.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control.
• Fluent in Russian (highly desirable but not essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
