Planning Officer needed in Enfield

The rate is £32.19ph PAYE

The reference number is: RQ1340123

The successful candidate will assess all types of planning and associated applications including site visits (generally unaccompanied), consultation, negotiation, written reports, and recommendations to agreed timescales, including responsibility for major development proposals.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Dealing with planning appeals and representing at Informal Hearings and Public Inquiries.
  2. Handling planning enquiries from agents, applicants, and the public.
  3. Providing pre-application planning advice to prospective developers.
  4. Advising local Societies, Associations, and Groups on planning issues, including attendance at meetings as required.
  5. Managing correspondence arising from development control work.
